The Impact of Innovative Trauma Expertise

with Amanda Morrow

As we continue to explore the tenants of the Milestones experience, today we’re joined by Clinical Supervisor Amanda Morrow to discuss our innovative trauma expertise.

Together, Mickenzie, Christopher, and Amanda share the “magic” behind the Milestones clinical approach and the innovative recovery that works. As Amanda shares, the differentiating factor amongst the team of highly skilled clinicians is the heart, compassion, and care they bring into everything they do.

She shares about different modalities, how we approach trauma and addiction, and encouragement for people considering this work.

Guest Info

Amanda Morrow, MS, serves as the Milestones’ Clinical Supervisor. Amanda previously served as a Primary Therapist for the residents of Milestones, Onsite’s Residential Trauma Program. In this role, Amanda had the honor of walking with clients as they explore the depths of their pain and helps equip them to walk through that pain towards healing.

Before coming to Onsite, Amanda worked as a therapist in a residential treatment center that dealt with addiction, mental health, and traumas. In addition, she also worked as a psychoeducational therapist in an outpatient treatment center for adolescent males. After attending Psychodrama and Experiential Training Institute programs for mental health professionals on our campus, Amanda left hoping to work at Onsite. She longed to work for a program that integrated experiential modalities to treat individuals holistically.
