Holistic healing
Milestones offers a one-of-a-kind, residential trauma treatment experience.
When the weight of the world is too much
We all encounter pain and adversity. Sometimes, the weight of past trauma piles up, and life feels too heavy to carry alone.
When your burdens become overwhelming, Milestones provides a sanctuary—a trusted place to unpack your past, make sense of your present, and re-envision the future you want to live.
A legacy of healing
Milestones began in 2014 as an expansion of the work of Onsite, world-renowned for workshops and therapeutic intensives. For over 45 years, Onsite, and now Milestones, has designed and delivered transformational experiences that optimize life and build meaning and value into the human experience.

Christopher O’Reilly
Vice President of Clinical Services, Milestones

Christopher has an extensive career running residential and outpatient programs specializing in trauma, addiction treatment, and detox. Within a nearly 20-year career with Caron Treatment Centers, he honed his administrative and clinical skills, overseeing residential programs’ full range of operational and therapeutic functions. Christopher also served as an adjunct professor at West Chester University, teaching mind, body health.
Christopher obtained his MA in Clinical Counseling from Alvernia University, and his additional credentials include:
- Licensed Professional Counselor
- Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor
- Certified Clinical Supervisor
- Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist
- Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist
Christopher is also a Level 1 MBSR instructor at Brown University.
Amanda Morrow
Clinical Supervisor
Amanda Morrow, MS, serves as the Milestones’ Clinical Supervisor. Amanda previously served as a Primary Therapist for the residents of Milestones, Onsite’s Residential Trauma Program. In this role, Amanda had the honor of walking with clients as they explore the depths of their pain and helps equip them to walk through that pain towards healing.
Before coming to Onsite, Amanda worked as a therapist in a residential treatment center that dealt with addiction, mental health, and traumas. In addition, she also worked as a psychoeducational therapist in an outpatient treatment center for adolescent males. After attending Psychodrama and Experiential Training Institute programs for mental health professionals on our campus, Amanda left hoping to work at Onsite. She longed to work for a program that integrated experiential modalities to treat individuals holistically.
Dr. Neil Bomar
Vice President of Medical Services
Dr. Neil Bomar comes to Milestones with a varied medical and psychiatric background. He is an honors graduate of Vanderbilt University and completed his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. An early career in primary and urgent care medicine led him to Kentucky, where he attended the University of Kentucky to pursue a residency in occupational and preventive medicine. He practiced occupational and corporate medicine for Toyota in Georgetown, Kentucky, before returning to Memphis to complete a residency in psychiatry. From 2004 to 2011, he built a busy private psychiatry practice while serving as a consultant for Methodist and Baptist hospitals.
Dr. Bomar has spoken on the regional and national levels at symposia on topics such as opioid addiction and the interface between psychiatry and primary care. He has consulted for companies providing services to geriatric clients as well as clients with intellectual and developmental disorders.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Bomar has served as medical director of substance abuse treatment centers at the intensive outpatient and residential levels. He has also served as a regional speaker for Pamlabs, Forest Pharmaceuticals, and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. His breadth of experience in psychiatry and primary care led to a focus in the areas of trauma and addiction. He has been the medical director for the last five years at a nonprofit organization, providing comprehensive treatment to adolescents with addictions and trauma-related disorders. It was this experience that inspired him to pursue Onsite’s opportunity at Milestones to further his work in the field of trauma and codependency.
Crystal Galloway
Milestones Director of Operations
Crystal Galloway has respected and admired the work of Milestones and Onsite for years as a native of Cumberland Furnace. Previously a practicing nurse, Crystal joined the Milestones team as the Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day logistics of the program.
In her role, Crystal oversees several teams responsible for serving our guests and creating the calm, safe, and peaceful setting Milestones is known for. From a resident’s first day to their farewell, Crystal and her team manage the details necessary for them to focus and be fully present for their process.
Let’s do the work, together
We offer a variety of therapeutic modalities carefully curated to address unique needs and provide a transformative experience.
Experiential Therapy
Experiential therapy may be used to treat everything from everyday struggles to trauma to grief and loss; it is also regularly used as a component of substance abuse treatment. A fundamental premise of experiential therapy is that one’s perception determines one’s behavior. By harnessing various types of creative expression to re-experience and release negative emotions, the client may experience positive feelings such as love, forgiveness, and calm in the present. Examples of experiential therapy include animal-assisted therapy, play therapy, art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy, and wilderness therapy.
Group Therapy
Group psychotherapy or group therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which one or more therapists treat a small group of clients together as a group. The term refers to any form of psychotherapy when delivered in a group format, but it is usually applied to psychodynamic group therapy where the group context and group process is explicitly utilized as a mechanism of change by developing, exploring and examining interpersonal relationships within the group.
